When we think of Birmingham, we think about giant structures, humongous buildings and The Bullring. Weeeeellll... it is true but there is more to Birmingham than just the Bullring; there is a feel of love and affection at Birmingham and the way artists give an expression with their art. That's why we visited Birmingham to see it's serene cites and alluring graffiti.

ANALYSIS OF PHOTOGRAPHS
This photo is a great way of showing figure in ground and rule of third. The rule of thirds is applied by aligning a subject with the guide lines and their intersection points, placing the horizon on the top or bottom line. This dancer or street performer is looking down on the floor, we can also see that other people are looking at him. This could indicate that he is a famous street artist or that he is different to others. Figure to ground has a multitude of names; subject to background, figure separation, foreground to background, and the list goes on.
Photo that you're seeing is a perfect example of the phi grid. Phi grid is a way of showing the important thing in the whole picture. We can see that the lady holding her child, whilst walking down the road is more important than the chairs or plain view. Leading lines are shown in this picture, we can see the white-shirted lady near the trees. Leading lines are one of the most effective and under-utilised compositional tools available to photographers. They're used to draw a viewers attention to a specific part of the frame, whether it's a person, or a vanishing point in the background of the frame.
